ISTA: Seminar – Novel Staining Strategies for Advanced Imaging Applications

The Imaging & Optics Facility ( IOF ) at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) is hosting a seminar by Dr. Dawid Lbik. This seminar serves as a pre-seminar for a hands-on staining strategy workshop, aiming to introduce the newest labeling approaches for emerging technologies in superresolution, spatial-omics, and large-panel stainings. These are all fields that have seen significant technological developments and are rapidly gaining popularity across research fields and imaging applications.

As the person responsible for Abberior Dyes and Labels in Central Europe, Dr. Dawid Lbik can provide insights into both academic and commercial trends. Overall, concepts and considerations of tagging and linking options, dye properties, and staining strategies will be introduced, followed by a Q&A session for planning a ‘follow-up’ hands-on session – that will be hosted at ISTA in the second half of 2025.
